Valerie had never felt quite so excited in her life before, and she figured it there was any day to be as happy as she felt, it was today. It was hard to believe that she was already getting married - she'd never pictured herself as the kind to have a wedding at such a young age, but then again, she'd never imagined she'd fall in love in high school either, and actually want to spend the rest of her life with the guy. Clearly, Will had changed a lot of her plans, but she definitely wasn't upset about it. It was a new stage of her life, and once they got back from their honeymoon, they'd be moving their things together in their New York apartment and things would be... probably not all that different than before, actually, seeing as she'd already kinda been living at his place in Kansas City, but it still wouldn't be entirely the same either. She was pretty sure it'd be a good different though, so she didn't mind too much. She'd also promised herself that today, and for the duration of her honeymoon, she wouldn't think about the fact that moving to New York meant officially moving away from her family, and from Dakota, and that soon after she moved herself, Vince would be joining Brooke in Canada. She didn't want to be sad or mopey during any of this time.
As it was, having Brooke, Felicia and Lindsey over was already something that made her excitement that much stronger, because she knew that their lives would now resemble the patterns it'd taken this summer a lot more than what they'd gotten used to at the Academy - rather than seeing each other practically every day, and then being apart for the summer, they'd be apart most of the time and then once in a while would get to hang out, like right now. Well, not exactly like right now - not with all the wedding craze that was going on around her, her wedding planner running around like a chicken without a head - then again, she didn't blame her. Taking on an Aldridge wedding wasn't an easy task, and she obviously had no room for error. As far as she was concerned though, she wasn't feeling stressed at all, only happy as she got ready with her best friends and her mom, a bit fidgety and impatient to actually get going even.
