Stephanie didn't feel nervous as she sat in a small room right by the entrance of the church, but she did feel extremely anxious to a level she was definitely unaccustomed to. Sitting still and waiting patiently had never been a problem for her, but right now she did feel a bit of impatience to get things started, although there were still a few things to finish fixing up - not to mention, the scheduled start of the ceremony was still ten minutes away and so there may still be people arriving. Granted, their attendance list was fairly small - Carson had never been that much of a people person, so he didn't have a large amount of close friends, and the list of family members was even shorter. As it was, they'd invited his parents because Stephanie just hadn't felt comfortable not doing so, but she honestly wasn't sure if they would show up, so it was very possible that his only family member in attendance would be his sister. On her side, she'd invited her Aunt and Uncle, along with her cousins and a few close friends, but she'd left it at that - even that amount of people made her feel like she was turning this into her wedding more than hers and Carson's together, considering how the greater majority of guests were there for her.
Today though, she'd decided not to worry too much about that. They'd put a sign at the entrance of the church that invited people to pick a seat, not a side, and she was fairly sure that people didn't specifically pick the bride or groom's side to sit on anymore anyway. With that out of her mind, she only just had to focus on the ticking seconds as she looked up at the clock on he wall while Cheyenne made sure her veil and hair looked okay. The other girl was the only one she'd wanted to get ready with, and she hadn't wanted a large bridal party, so she served as her maid of honor and would be the only one by her side once she reached Carson, after her father let her go.
