PERSONALITY
Taylor is a rather shy and simple looking girl - which she actually is, to some extent. She's not completely introverted, but she doesn't exactly manages to go toward others easily either. If someone comes along and talks to her, she will answer nicely and keep up the conversation, but she won't start it or make the first steps unless it's absolutely necessary. She's a very sweet girl who spends most of her time in a constant daydream and only seems to wake up when she dances - she then becomes one of the most breathtaking person you've ever seen, passionate, fiery, full of life, as though she had a double personality on stage.
She does have a slight lack of self confidence, but it's never affected her much. She can be a bit jealous as well, whenever she has a boyfriend - which is pretty rare because she doesn't often open up to get to know boys well enough to date them - but she's not a clingy or annoying girlfriend in anyway. She's actually more the type to ignore her jealousy and pretend everything is okay, which is not actually better in any way. She's very self aware and a real perfectionist when it comes to ballet - she wants to be the best, not in order to beat others, simply in order to be proud of herself. She wants to know what it feels like to be completely happy with who she is and what she does.
Though she doesn't make friends easily, she's a very loyal girl. She's more likely to defend her friends than to defend herself and values them higher as well. She has a very nurturing personality and is a bit of a mother to her close friends. She loves helping people and comforting them when the need comes to it, and she'd there for her friends whenever they need her, even if it's the middle of the night. She enjoys spending time with other people when she knows them well, going out and stuff, and the city has many choices too.
APPEARANCE
Average size with her 5 foot 6 ½ inches, Taylor has a petite shape, very slender but still with all the curves a woman should have in the right place. With long deep brown hair and warm chocolate eyes, she has anything needed to make any boy's heart flutter at her sight, if she only knew how to work her charm properly. She has beautiful features, not perfect but still lovely with sweet pink lips and pale smooth skin that often turns red from her blushing habits. She also has a small birthmark on the end of her left eyebrow and a thin scar on her lower right cheek.
As a rather shy girl, she keeps her dressing style plain and simple, though still stylish and very feminine. She especially loves long A-line skirts with small patterns or embroidered flowers and such. She prefers soft colors to bolder ones though she's not completely closed to trying new things. She usually goes for a look that covers most part of her body to a reasonable length - never shows much cleavage either. It's a wonder how she can feel comfortable in her ballet clothes.
She doesn't wear much makeup, mostly eyeliner and a little bit of gloss from time to time, when she's not too tired in the morning. She keeps everything about herself simple - straight hair, sometimes wavy but that's the way it is naturally. She doesn't like fussing on her style too much. She does, however, loves accessories, mainly necklaces and bracelets. Pink is her choice color, soft pink of course, and she often wears it since it suits her pretty well anyway.
HISTORY
Early in the morning on the 17th of October 1991, Taylor Elisa Smith was born in Arlington, Texas. She arrived early in her parents' couple life as they'd been together for not even two years. However, instead of putting their couples apart like it could have done to other people, if brought them closer, forming a strong and loving family. Her mother, who was a rather successful ballet dancer before she got pregnant, knew she couldn't exactly carry on with her career and so she moved onto giving dancing lessons to young children instead, opening a small school for child from 4 to 10 years old. Of course, when Taylor turned four herself, she joined her mother's classes, learning all forms of dances. Her parents soon saw her interest in it and decided to sign her up for more professional classes when she turned eight years old.
Taylor grew to adore dancing, practicing everytime she got a chance until her toes bled and her whole body ached. Everybody could tell that, whenever she danced, she was a completely different person - no more shyness, no more self consciousness. She wasn't even herself anymore, she was the character she interpreted on the scene. Every time the school she was in gave a show, she was an option for the main role but she often turned it out herself, thinking it wasn't fair to her classmates if she always got to dance a main role and them never, knowing the pressure of such a thing could help them improve as well.
When she turned twelve, her parents started looking for schools that would also include dancing lessons in their programs. They heard of Gordon Parks' Academy and talked it over with their daughter, who instantly decided she wanted to get in. Knowing it was a very expensive place to get into, she started working even harder at school, working on her grades as much as on her dancing to get a scholarship. When she applied, it was a while before the answer came back and she got worried, wondering if she should have watched for other options as well, but just as she was getting desperate, she got the answer she was waiting for - her application was accepted, she had the scholarship and a place in school. It was the first time her parents had seen her so excited, jumping up and down in the house and shrieking happily.
When she arrived at the academy, she knew she'd made a good thing by working so hard - it was no easy task to keep her grades up with everything they had to do, but she was up to the job. Her two first years went smoothly, though she learned the meaning of sleepless nights, and she never regretted her choice. She is now entering her Junior year and can't wait to learn some more.
