Kristina walked into the dance room. She missed this place a lot over the summer. Where she lived they didn't have a room like this. Nothing like this. In fact the dance studio in her home town was dumpy. She smiled as she slipped on her ballet shoes. She had many talents when it came to dancing but she wanted to do some ballet. Nothing beat the feeling of dancing in a good dance studio. More the less being able to do this for a class. She giggled lightly. She looked around again, trying to memorize the room around her. Sighing again she realized how much she missed this place. Her heart swelled with pride. It was hard to get into this school and she did it on a scholarship. She smiled widely.
She put in her Ipod as she stood up. She began to do a little ballet that went along with the music. She twirled and kicked and jumped all at the right times. Her legs ached a little with each little move. It had been far to long since she had danced like this. Her breath came shallower and more frequent. She continued to dance even though her body and muscled were telling her to stop. None of that mattered right now. All that mattered was the dancing. She twirled for a while. She got dizzy and decided to work on her leaps. She smiled until her cheeks got sore. Then she just smiled with her eyes. She worked on her fortes. She did some spinning, but she fell to the floor and decided that was enough of that. After she worked on everything she thought she should and could she did a little free dance. She jumped, twirled, leaped, and shook what she had.
She danced until she fell to the floor. That was were she laid, panting, sweating, and with every muscle screaming at her. She was singing with her song, that was not her talent at all. She didn't care for the moment it was just her and the high that she got from dancing. She was tired. Her legs kept moving on their own. She pulled herself into a sitting position to stretch a little bit. It was a necessary thing after the first dance of the year. Normally she waited until she got back to her dorm, but she knew she had to do both. Sighing she sat up and stretched some more. She bent over and stretched out one leg. Then she did the same to the other one. She plopped back down on her butt. She smelled the place around her, listened to her music, and enjoyed the sweet feeling she had after she danced.
