The word silly made Cara laugh. It was just a weird word to say. Silly. Who can say that without even a little hint of a smile? No one. It was just one of those words that make you smile. Along with words such as fork, poodle, Fiji, gumdrops, etc. But, Cara wasn't much of a 'silly' person. She was ditzy and bubbly, but silly? No. Not most of the time. She never really liked to look 'silly' either. She thought that she always needed to look her best, and looking like a goof with her clothes was just not an option. That was one of her biggest rules with herself. "Helped someone?" Cara asked. She didn't understand this one. Help someone what? Help someone make fun of her for looking like a 'silly' person? Help someone laugh at her when it wasn't needed? Oh well. There are a lot of things that Cara just does not always get. That was one thing she just couldn't help. She wasn't very quick witted, and didn't try to be. "Putting emotion into a dance is key," This was true, "It makes the judges see who you really are." One of her old dance teachers had told her this. It was always in her mind. She tried to put her whole soul into a dance, so that they could see that. And they did! Well, almost all the time they did. It was just a magical feeling.
"No problem, I meant it too." Cara flexed out her foot. She didn't want it to get all cramped up. That was the worst feeling...for a dancer, anyways. "Hey, " She said, and walked over to Kristina, "I'm a dance teacher. It's in my blood to want to help people." She didn't always just want to be a dance teacher, though. She wanted to be a famous dancer in New York...and maybe be a teacher on the weekends or something. She didn't know about that, but she knew that she did want to be in New York dancing. Plus, she knew her best friend, Vanessa, would be in New York acting...so why not stay close? "Look," Cara said when Kristina said something about them competition against each other, "I really like sharing what I know. It's not like I personally own any of these, " She giggled a little, "So you could really learn them from anyone." There was the truth. "I learned what I'm about to show you from Julianne Hough." Cara beamed with the memory of meeting the famous dancer. "She was so, so sweet." Julianne Hough had come to Cara's dance school one day to take over her lesson. It was a-m-a-z-i-n-g. She was so good with the way she taught. "I didn't think you were being rude."
She flexed out her other foot. Also, she didn't put on any music. It was easier to show without music blasting in the back ground. Plus, any dancer should know how to count the beats in their head. Cara did this really different fan kick with a twist and ended in a cool fifth. "That's the Swirl Kick." It was one of Cara's favorite moves to do. It was so much fun. Then, she did a back wards pique turn, with her hands pushed out. This allowed her to do a quad, and end in a sweet first. "That'd the Push out." Again, another one of her favorites. "You try. They're really kind of hard the first few times you do them, but then I promise they get much easier."
