PERSONALITY
Elle is a very typical young girl. She laughs, she cries, she gets disappointed, and at times has mood swings and randomly gets mad over something you do not expect to be an anger-trigger with a very small reason. When she’s thinking or worrying too much of something, she gets annoyed easily and could end up throwing stuffs at you. This happens mostly if you will try to play a trick on her in the middle of her cramming.
Though she had gone through a rough road, she didn't take it as a weakness but more of a challenge and strength that made her a completely positive, mature and a somewhat better person.
She’s a very bubbly person; in a way where she will randomly burst out laughing in the middle of dead silence because of something that happened yesterday. She laughs out loud for something really shallow, and so does she cries over something small, like you forgetting to give her the cupcake that you promised last year.
She grudges royalty-feeling students. She’s aware that there were students, especially in higher years, who might have achieved fame in excelling in specific subjects, but having them taking too much pride of it – or rather to utterly boast it – is a different case. You’re good, she knows, okay. No need to repeat it over and over again. She might idolize or admire people who excel in something, but most likely, she will not let you know it, unless she starts to like hanging out with you and would want to be really close friends.
Elle’s friendly; but though she likes having new friends, you’ll never see her do the introductions first. She’s not making herself too important that she do not want to start a getting-to-know-you conversation, but she’s that timid when it comes to first social contacts. Though, if you’re already a friend, close to each other, knows more than the basics of her personality, and calls her Elle or another nickname that the two of you made up and not Brie or Brielle, you will see a very different Brielle Loise Blanchard.
Flirting; that’s a given. Every teenager comes to that stage in life. But too much of it, like planning to take it to the next level through trying to make out with her will just give you a very high demeanor. She’s single, and she’s too happy for being one, that she thinks she cannot have any relationship yet. She’s just a freshman, and what would you expect for a new student to think about on her first day? And in future, if you would like to take the risk of trying to get her, take note of not smoking, she don’t like smokers as they will cause her early death, for she has weak lungs.
APPEARANCE
Elle is 5’ 7 ½” tall, enough to reach the top of their cup-board. This young girl of fifteen bears light brown eyes that often admires people of high knowledge and has a queer eye in everything that has to do with art, though this beautiful pair of hazel also glares randomly, if she's having a frustration or annoyance. Or when older sister instincts says her she needs so.
With fair complexion, she strut her own fashion with a variety of different clothing lines, with no specific choice; dresses, gowns, plain tees and pants, any kind would fit her likeness, but of course, the type of clothing she chooses depends on what the event asks her to wear and what mood she’s into by that time.
Elle has a heart-shaped face that goes well with her brown hair that hangs down up to her chest, which is often curled especially if there is a special occasion she has to attend, though at times it can also be in a bun, a pony-tail or just hanging loose there all the way. Also depends upon her mood.
Make-ups; she barely wears such. She’s a true-blue crammer she has no time for more time wasters. Though, of course, if there would be an event and she has to gear up for it she would have them, definitely.
HISTORY
Elle was raised by her parents in a small apartment in California, though supported by her mother and father. She has been studying in an exclusive school since Kindergarten but unfortunately, as their family started to earn less of what they used to have her family made her transfer into a community school. Her mother was fired in a known technological-inclined company and was forced to apply in another company that gives cheaper salary in Washington.
By that time, when Elle’s mother left to work in Washington, she had also left a crack in her relationship with Elle’s father. They have had really bad argument that sometimes led into yelling, cursing and unwanted disturbing noise from clattering possessions. But Elle dealt with it, she had been as positive as she can be, continued studying hard for her future, and didn’t let the problem that she had seen coming put her down.
Two years, that was how long it will take before her mother comes back home. That’s when her contract ends. One. Two. Three. It took longer than expected, and after those two years she hasn’t heard from her mother since. The next thing she knew, was her father got a letter from the court for divorce.
She was twelve by then, and as her parents fought over her custody, she chose to live with her mother and that made the case be closed and final. For that, she has to move and again transferred into another school to continue her education. It wasn’t until she was finally brought into Lakewood, Washington by her mom that she met this man who has been dating her mom for half a year already. Right then, she understood. Everything was clear to her anyway, her parents were already not in good terms when her mom left and before she left she was already working with the divorce papers and upon working with it she met this man. Now, this man, her mom said it's in him whom she had found love, real love.
After graduation, she thought of attending an art school, and her parents having heard of Gordon Parks' fame in catering high standards of education, they decided to send her in it.
ROLE PLAYING SAMPLE
With earphones clogged onto her ears, Elle sat on a green-leathered couch. She looked around scanning every corner of the alienated room. She gazed from the ceiling down to the floor, everything was foreign to her, even the couch she was sitting and its leather. She made her way in front of an old oak drawer and traced its carving with her fingertips. Above the drawer were frames that are yet to be filled with photos.
“…Wake me up inside
Wake me up inside
Call my name and save me from the dark.
Bid my blood to run
Before I become undone
Save me from the nothing I’ve become
Bring me to life…”
Making her way back unto the couch, she tossed a throw pillow on its farthest edge and laid her head on it while she softly sung the chorus of the song playing on her ipod.
She have heard on the weather forecast earlier this day that they are to expect the sun to shine bright as no rain will tap on Washington roads, but from her seat, she can see clearly the clouds rumbling outside with light flashes of lightning. Not shocked that the forecast will always be outsmarted by nature, she grinned and decided to take a nap. They have just come from a long ride and a nap will just be such a prize.
Moments after she closed her eyes, Elle snapped into a sit when she heard a loud scream. Her heart drummed heavily as she made her way out of the house. With dark clouds hovering above her, she ran off to nowhere. Behind her, she heard her mother called her and commanded her to go back, but she didn't budged to stop. She was certain she also heard Clark, her mother's fiance, had his car ready to chase her.
Thinking she should not be caught by whoever, she turned into a narrow alley. She has already reached the middle of the alley when she realized what she was doing. Running away from her family, the people whom have accepted and supported her the way she wanted to be. But despite these thoughts, she did not stop but continue running. Later, everything started to blur, tears welled her eyes. She felt her feet slowed down in tiredness, but as she heard Clark called on her back she abruptly seemed to gain her strength back. She don't know what made her ran from him, but something tells her she has to.
As she reached the end of the alley she found herself in the middle of a busy road. A bright light caught her attention on her left and as she snapped her head to its direction a loud screeching noise broke her ear until a loud crash made her jump out of the couch.
Elle looked around, and found herself back at the living room. She had been dreaming. She gasped for air, held her chest and panted. She had been dreaming, badly dreaming. She heard her mother called for her upstairs, and hurried to see her.
