PERSONALITY
Life for Gabe is pretty much all fun and games. Of course he knows that there is a time for work and a time for play, but most of the time it's time for play. When he has to do work, he does his best to turn it into some sort of play so that it won't have to be quite so bad to do it. And then, he hasn't ever been one to do any extra work if he doesn't have to. If it's not fun and it's not required than he's not going to do so. Plain and simple. Most people don't exactly admire the quality about him but he could care less. He lives his life for the moment and to have fun, he isn't about to waste it doing work that he doesn't need to do. He figures that years from now he will remember the things happening with his peers a whole lot more than the things that he was learning in History class and his actions quite reflect that mentality as well.
In relationships Gabe pretty much holds the fun and games mentality. It's not that he couldn't have a serious relationship, it's just that he'd never wanted to. He's into his relationships for the pleasure that they'll bring and how much fun he'll have with the girls that he's with. He isn't a big guy on feelings or romance. He'd much rather spend an evening with a date at a club or a movie than at a fancy restaurant or on a moonlit beach. He's not a jerk though, he always makes sure that he dates girls that are looking for the same things that he is. And then at the end of it things won't end with any hard feelings on either side. He stays with the same girl as long as things are fun and when they stop being so he decides that it's time to move on.
If there's one thing that Gabe can't resist though, it's a challenge. He's been known to do some pretty ridiculous things on dares and such just because he wanted to prove that he was able to. He's not the type that would back down from something just because it looked hard or because he'd failed at it previously. He likes to be right and does everything in his power to prove that he is when the time comes around. He's a bit prone to bragging when he is right and can have quite an ego at times though it isn't quite so bad that it could fill a whole room or anything. He can pick on his friends sometimes, as well as his siblings at home, but he is also very protective of them and the picking on his friends and family is an exclusive privilege in his eyes.
APPEARANCE
Gabe stands at 5'11" with an average build. He isn't bulky, but he isn't without any muscle either. He has light brown hair that tends to curl out the longer that it gets but he mostly tries to keep it as straight as possible without having to actually having to straighten it. His light brown eyes are rarely seen without a mischievous glint in them but sometimes are seen sporting glasses depending on his mood. He's got a grin that can charm his way into most any girl's heart and he isn't afraid to use it either.
As for his clothing style he likes to keep it on the fun and interesting side mostly. He prefers t-shirts over any other type but they always have to have something on them because the plain colored ones are boring to him. He owns a few of them of course, along with a couple of button up shirts but they are the minorities in his closet. He usually pairs his shirts with blue jeans and tennis shoes. He isn't one to go big on accessories but he's been known from time to time to add in a scarf or maybe a jacket or a hat but not much more than that. He prefers to go for subtle for accessories.
HISTORY
Gabe Pasco Mead was born at 5:32 P.M. on August 8, 1992 to parents Pasco Mead and Emma Wolkterink in Sydney, Australia. Emma was an American who had gone to Sydney in an exchange program for her college while working on her bachelor's degree in rehabilitation counseling. It was by chance that she ended up meeting Pasco, bumping into him on her way out of one of her classes. He was working on his master's degree in business law and the two of them ended up clicking immediately and formed a budding romance. It wasn't long after they'd started dating that Emma had started thinking about staying in Australia and then her choice was solidified a couple months later when she found that she was pregnant. She gave birth to Gabe and then married Pasco a few months later to be an official citizen. She didn't return back to college to stay at home and take care of Gabe. Luckily, each of them came from pretty well off families that supported the young couple.
Gabe grew up with a pretty great childhood by anyone's standards. Emma took great care of him every day and encouraged him to be wild and crazy and just himself. Emma liked things to be fun and made just about everything that they did into a game. There was always room in her days to play make believe games with the young boy whenever he wanted. Emma especially loved the games of make believe, mostly because at one point in her young life she had aspired to be an actress, but had never actually decided to try and seriously achieve it not thinking that it was a serious enough ambition. Most days Pasco wasn't around much, since he was always busy. First he was busy with school and then after that at his firm.
It was when Gabe was about 5 that things started changing around the house. It was that time when a new baby boy joined the house, Cadel Aadam. And then Emma became a bit too busy with the small boy to be able to keep up with Gabe and his fast paced imaginative games and characters. So, as a sort of compromise she put him into a young children acting class. At first Gabe was unsure how to feel but he quickly learned to love it and always was excited to go back and learn more or play a different character. And that was how it went on, continuing along the same lines until he was 10 and little sister Haci Emma was added to the family. He loved his siblings but often tried to get more attention than them with his loud and slightly obnoxious ways.
At age 14 his mother suggested to Gabe that he apply for Gordon Parks. She told him that if he was really serious about his acting he needed to take it to a new level. And she knew that level very well, since it was the very same school that she had went to as a teenager. Eager for the chance to improve himself more and go off into the world, he took the advice and applied to the school. And he found out some weeks later that he'd been accepted and wasted no time in getting his things together to head off to the school in America.
