Really, if Cassidy expected Zoey to go up and talk with Marisol just because Tiffany was going to talk to Fred, it wasn't going to work. The two situations were completely different, mostly in the aspect that Tiffany had had a lot more time to adjust to the idea. Even before she got the dress, Fred had tried to be nice to her and that had been a while ago. She'd only had a couple of weeks where she had to try and adjust to a strange situation where someone that she thought she might even be able to be friends with just had kissed her out of the blue and that had led to an awkward situation. Talking to her seemed like it'd be even more awkward than anything else too. No, she didn't like the fact that Marisol was unhappy and probably wasn't going to have a good time tonight, but she didn't like the diea of being forced to talk to her either. She should be able to pick her own time in doing so.
She walked with Cassidy over to a nearby table, turning her attention back to the silent movies as Cassidy looked around the room. Of course the other girl went right in to try and do the exact thing that she really had been hoping that she wouldn't. It was almost like she was doing the exact opposite of trying to help her go talk to the fashion designer because she hated feeling forced into something. "I will talk to her when I'm ready to talk to her, Cassidy," she replied. "It's no good to talk to her when I feel forced to do so or uncomfortable with the idea and I'm sure she'd much rather not believe that you were forcing me into talking to her." She might be the one that was avoiding talking to the designer, but somehow she was pretty sure that Marisol wasn't so much into pity and the like. Not many people she knew were actually. "So, I'll go when I feel like I want to go and talk to her, tonight or not."
