Homecoming Dance (Closing July 5th)

He laughed a bit as she teased him. "Not really, I was just informing you of the facts," he said just as teasingly. He was glad that she had a sense of humor about her, it made the times that he talked to her more interesting. Even if he did end up doing stupid things around her sometimes because of it. It was a lot easier when he was actually talking to her face to face, because it was a lot easier to tell that she was just joking about things. Actually, by this point, even though he hadn't known her that long, he should have been able to tell that she was just joking about most things. He really didn't believe that she'd withhold sex, especially because they'd each had the same feelings about the sex that they'd had. And therefore if he ever even tried to withhold he knew that he'd feel like it was a lot more of a punishment to himself than to her. He wasn't sure how he'd be able to have sex with someone else, knowing how amazing sex could be with her. Hopefully, if and when it came to that point in time he could manage to find someone else who he seemed to have the same natural chemistry with.

He couldn't help but grin slightly as he heard her questions about his date, it was pretty obvious that she was a bit jealous about the whole situation. That much was clear by the way that she spoke. "I actually don't know if she was a bad dancer, I never got around to dancing with her." That would probably be something that she'd be pleased to know. He couldn't help but wonder how Jessica would feel held up close against him like Addie was at this moment. For some reason he didn't think it'd feel as good. "She was a bit of a bore, I'll admit," he said, answering her second question. "But really I saw that you were getting ditched by Holly, so I figured that it'd be the perfect time to try and get away. I really couldn't handle another minute of mindless chatter," he told her. He much preferred hearing what Addie had to say anyway, it was more interesting and there was actually some substance to it. However, he wasn't about to share that information with her, mostly because he sort of liked the feeling that she could be jealous of the other girl and even though his words would pretty much eliminate a lot of that jealousy, he didn't want to wipe the whole emotion out.

[Milo Parker]

He knew she had to be wondering what the kiss met as far as they were concerned, mostly because he was sort of wondering the same exact thing. Well, he had been there on the date to 'woo' her or whatever, so it would make sense that he'd try and say something that would help along the process. Though he wasn't entirely too sure that it was what he wanted to be in a relationship, he knew that he also wanted to have a claim on her. Maybe what Addie had suggested, the recurrent date thing. That could work out well, if she agreed to it of course. He'd been told before that some girls didn't like things like that, but he was pretty sure that Taylor wouldn't have a problem with it if he suggested it. It wasn't like it was that hard to believe that he wouldn't want a real, serious, relationship. However, he just kept staring at her for a few minutes, not wanting to break the moment that they seemed to be having. So, he just kept staring into her eyes until he felt that the intensity of it was just too much to bare, at which time he moved further away from her.

That way the urge to kiss her again wouldn't be quite so strong, or at least that was what he was hoping anyway. He looked back over at her again though and smiled, figuring now was as good a time as any to clear up how things stood. "So Taylor," he began. "I know that we've already sat down at a fancy restaurant and eaten a meal together, but I was kind of hoping that maybe we'd be able to do it again. Only more like a real date." There, that right there was the way to go about things. He didn't promise anything would happen in a more permanent sense, but was expressing his interest for her. He waited to see what her answer would be to his suggestion, not really feeling all that nervous about it oddly enough. Maybe it was the mixed feelings that he was still experiencing about the whole situation? Anyway, it was weird considering that he had gotten a bit nervous about dancing with her and kissing her. Maybe it was the fact that asking someone on a date was pretty much a reflex by now, something that he usually couldn't stop himself from doing, it was easy and simple and familiar.

[Abigail Donner]

Abigail really couldn’t believe he was really doing that, dragging her to the dance floor, actually wanting to dance with her. He must have taken something before coming here. Actually, that might even explain his presence. Maybe he was drunk, or high. Whichever. She looked at him slightly in disbelief when he said that he’d be fine whatever she said because he was dancing with her. Okay, now he was definitely on something. Unless… she rolled her eyes slightly when he said that she looked amazing. Maybe he wasn’t on something after all. Maybe it was a prank, maybe he was trying to make fun of her, getting her to say stuff she didn’t want to say and using it as blackmail or just to make fun of her afterward. That didn’t really sound like him, but it was the only thing that made the slightest bit of sense right now. Sighing, she pushed the thought away, concentrating instead on keeping her feet off his and trying not to show how affected she was by the close proximity of their bodies, her eyes going from her feet to over his shoulder, the scowling look still on her face, never looking straight at him.

As he leaned closer and lightly blew in her ear before whispering, she couldn’t help the small shiver that ran along her spine, convincing herself that she would have reacted the same exact way had it been anybody else, biting on her bottom lip lightly. As he leaned away, she glared at him slightly. “Do not call me love,” she said through her teeth, getting frankly annoyed by his behavior. The next part, however, was a bit too much for her, not necessarily because of the words used or anything, more like the way he’d said it, added to every single thing he’d already said tonight that was enough to make her want to strangle him. Instead, she merely pushed him off him, anger obvious on her face as she glared at him, not caring if she was about to bring some other student’s attention on her or cause a scene. Enough is enough. “Alright, you know what? I am not turned off by you. I am turned off by your goddamn arrogance,” she snapped. “You come here, force me to dance, you don’t even bother to ask, you act as though you own me, you just…” she stopped for a few seconds, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath before looking back at him, her eyes practically flashing with fury. “Let’s get something straight. You don’t own me, so don’t call me love, and better yet, don’t even talk to me,” she said before turning around and starting to walk off, almost shaking from the emotion, a bit frightened to be honest, but somewhat glad that for once she’d stood up to someone.

[Joel Rodgers]

He was a bit surprised when she randomly changed the subject, he hadn't actually been expecting her to ask the question that she had. Though he probably should have seen it coming, after all usually people were curious at the reason that motivated someone to ask another person out. It was a fair question by all standards, he thought for a minute though. Why had he asked her out? Cara has been asking him who he was going to ask and he just kept coming up short on who to ask, but for some reason Cassandra had popped into his head. She seemed nice enough, she was attractive physically, but he still really didn't think that either of those qualified as real reasons to do something. So he wasn't exactly sure the real motivating reason that he'd asked her, it was probably mostly because of the fact that Cara kept pushing him to ask someone, so he did. Why was he so intent on finding someone though? He could have just told Cara that he wanted to go alone, right? So why didn't he? Why was he so insistent upon taking someone to the dance?

"Well, I kept getting bugged by a friend of mine to take someone to the dance," he said. "And for some reason I kept thinking about you, so I figured it'd be a good decision to ask." That was still tactful at least and it was the truth without it sounding like he'd only asked her so that his friend would get off his back, which he had in a way. He still had to wonder what Cara's problem had been with the whole thing, it wasn't as if she'd met Cassandra yet - that he knew of - and even if she had he really doubted that she could have been so horrible to her that it would leave an impression that she seemed to already have about her. He frowned a bit as he kept thinking about it, when he got back to the dorm he was going to have to call her, well if he didn't see her here first. But so far he hadn't caught sight of his blonde friend, but even if she was there and he hadn't seen her yet it wouldn't be all that surprising. There were a lot of people in the gym and he really hadn't been paying that close of attention.

[Mandy Steele]

She giggled as she heard him continue making teasing comments. She couldn't actually believe how happy she felt, just talking to him, dancing with him. And the happiness just increased when she seemed to register his words a bit more carefully than she had before. Next time, now that was something to look forward to.As time was passing she began to realize that she was slowly growing more comfortable with him, even though she was worried about doing stupid things and messing up in some embarrassing way that would ruin the entire night. She still felt more like she was able to be herself around him, that he wasn't going to care if she wasn't exactly what everyone else expected her to be, that he wouldn't be disappointed or upset with her or anything along those lines like she thought that most other people would. She actually wholeheartedly believed that he was going to be happy with her as she was, it was a new feeling. She'd never actually believed that someone could like her for her, not even her own parents. Which was probably the main reason that she just did what she knew would please them. Though, by this time in her life she was truly convinced that it was the only way that she could live if she wanted to live a good life. Even if her sisters and brothers chose differently... they chose wrong.

She could feel his hand moving up and down her back a little and she noticed that that area felt a bit warmer than the rest of her body - with the exception of her hand that he was holding. The tingling thing was still happening but it wasn't quite as strong as it had been before, maybe because she was growing used to it. She couldn't help but wonder what it would feel like once they had to move apart from one another, she'd grown quite fond of the tingling by now and she had a feeling that she'd miss both it and the warmth once they were no longer in contact. She found that she was moving ever so much closer to him, but didn't stop herself. She liked the idea of being closer to him than she currently was. She found she was curious as to how she was going to react to a new closeness with him. She looked back up at him and simply studied him for a minute, blocking out the sounds around her and looking at him as if she were trying to figure something out. Though it really was more about what she was trying to figure out about what she was thinking and feeling than him. She was snapped out of her thoughts however with a start as someone near them snapped at another person, she didn't know who it was but she didn't really care either because the sudden loud noise made her jump forward slightly, pressing her body against his. She let out a small gasp at the shock she felt and quickly pulled away, trying to put a bit more distance between the two of them, blushing extremely red as she did. "Sorry," she apologized, looking down at the floor.

[Holly Hale]

"Thanks," Holly said with a small smile as she heard Kristina compliment her. "You look really great, too," she returned the compliment with a nod. She hadn't actually been expecting the younger girl to wear a dress like she was, she wasn't sure why she hadn't been because her dress was actually that of a popular style for all ages. Still for some reason, she clung to the innocent image she had of Kristina. She was a sucker for first impressions, they were how she was going to view the person forever. Still, she wasn't exactly complaining about the way that the gown fit on her, it was actually a good fit. It looked good on her too, along with the rest of her look. She had to admire the time and pain that must have been involved in her hairstyle, personally Holly would never go through so much to get her hair done for one simple night. She couldn't imagine having to take it out either, it looked great sure, but there was just too much time and effort involved for her liking, which was why she liked her method much better, sure it was simple but it still looked alright.

"So who are you here with?" she asked, she waited for her answer and glanced around. Of course she saw a few people that she knew and watched them for a few seconds without real interest because they were just doing boring things with their dates. She caught sight of Cassandra Preston dancing with a sophomore she was pretty sure she recognized nearby in a dress that she was pretty sure Andrew would kill her for if he caught sight of it, but it did look pretty hot on the freshman she had to admit. She moved her attention elsewhere though and she grinned slightly as she caught sight of Milo sharing a kiss with Taylor, she looked around to try and see if Addie had caught it too but when she looked back at the table that they'd been sitting at she didn't see Addie. She frowned slightly and then realized that she probably went off to find someone else as well, which was fine with her of course, she'd just have to ask her later if she'd caught the kiss and if not than she'd inform her about it. But she was glad that it appeared that things were working out for Milo.

[Kristina Sylvia]

Kristina smiled when Holly complimented her. "Thanks." She said simply. She still couldn't get over the dress Holly wore. The dress was blue for one and for some reason Kristina was thinking black. Not to mention she was expecting something more rebel. Like not leather exactly because that is just tacky but something stand out sort of dress. She shrugged lightly. It didn't really matter what Holly wore she looked good in it. Or at least that it what she thought. She looked at Holly's hair and smiled. Of course the girl hadn't gone through as much trouble or pain as she had. Most people didn't. Well at least not for the homecoming dance. Kristina just enjoyed looking her best. The best part about Holly's outfit was it fit her. Like maybe it wasn't what she had imagined but now looking at Holly it all fit. It was almost as if she had the dress made just for her and no one else. Kristina smiled lightly at that. She wished she could find her dress that was made just for her. She loved the dress she was in but she couldn't say it was made just for her. It had it's flaws.

Kristina looked down and kicked her feet. Holly just had to ask that evil little question didn't she. Of course the innocent girl didn't know Kristina had come alone, but still. She hated answering that question it made her feel like such a loser. Most people had dates to dances and she just had herself. How pathetic was that? Kristina looked up and took in a deep breath. She was going to be honest and say she was here alone. It was the saying that was going to be the hard part. She looked past Holly toward her shoulder and over. It was easier to do when you couldn't see the how pathetic expression fill their eyes. Most people tried to hide it but she always caught it. She pulled her mouth into a smile. "I am actually here solo." She said it with such confidence she surprised herself. It had always been something that bugged her but tonight it almost seemed like it was better. Like if she did have a date talking to the girl before her would have been impossible. She sighed and truly smiled. "Who are you here with?" She asked assuming not everyone was as pathetic as her and could actually get a date.

[Addison Micklesen]

She grinned slightly as he said he'd just been informing her from the facts, giving a small nod. "I'll keep that in mind then," she said, giggling a bit. "Maybe it would have been a good idea to keep my heels," she added a bit teasingly. After all, they did add quite a few inches to her heigth, but she didn't think she'd have been comfortable dancing with him or even just standing, she'd have had to sit soon enough. Then again, sitting was sometimes a bit better for them to do because the heigth difference wasn't as obvious then. Honestly, she'd have expected such a big difference to possibly affect the sex, maybe make it harder or something, but really in the end it was pretty much all about the position they chose. And luckily enough, all of them pretty much made it just as amazing as any, and it was enough to make her want to just keep it up for as long as possible. Of course, if at some point it was obvious that he'd never want to have a real relationship with her, she'd have to give up on him. But she was ready to wait quite a while before she had to get to that point, and she really hoped she wouldn't have to.

She couldn't help but grin slightly when Connor said he never got around to dancing with his date - it made her unrationally happy to know that he hadn't yet danced with the girl he'd brought along with him, which was pretty much the point of the whole thing, and still here he was, dancing with her. Okay, so they were outside, away from anybody would could have seen them, but it was still pretty good. Her grin widened even more after he said the girl was pretty much a bore, and that he couldn't take another minute of her chatter. She moved her head back again, starting to feel a slight ache in her neck as she rested her head against his chest, letting her eyes closed once more to listen to his heartbeat. It felt great in his arms. A bit like it did when Milo was hugging her, it felt safe, but there was something more to it too. Something she couldn't quite describe yet, something she wasn't even sure she wanted to be able to understand just now. "Why do you go for girls like that?" she asked, unable to restrain the question as she bit on her bottom lip lightly, frowning thoughtfully though she didn't look up at him. "I mean... they obviously don't seem to be of much interest to you. So why do you even bother? Just because they're hot?"

[Trent Montgomery]

Trent winced when she heard Abigail practically growl and tell him not to call her love. He knew he shouldn't have done that. It was just out of habit he figured. His dad was from London and he said it all the time to people so Trent just naturally picked it up. He wasn't aware of how much it hit people the wrong way when he called them that. He automatically wished he could take back that comment and then in an instant, she was out of his arms. He sighed and looked down at the floor, listening to her snap at him in different ways. Arrogance? Yeah, he could admit that he was pretty damn arrogant but he didn't think that he had forced her to dance with him. He thought maybe since she had been looking his way, that she wanted to dance with him. Guess his radar was far off on that one. He scowled as she started stating that he didn't own her so he shouldn't call her love or even talk to her. All he could think of as she walked off was, Shit. He'd definitely screwed up and the shitty thing was, he really really did care. He hated himself for it, too.

He watched her walk a bit and then he gritted his teeth, walking over to her. Lightly, he grabbed her arm to stop her and then moved in front of her. As he looked at her, he couldn't bring up words. He wanted to yell at her and tell her to go to Hell if she didn't want to dance with him or something along those lines. But somehow, this girl was breaching his borders and that was beyond scary. He didn't want to yell at her.. not really. He wanted her to stay and dance with him but he didn't think she wanted to. Sighing, he placed his hands in his pockets and said, "Look I uh.." he paused, looking down for a second and then back up at her, "I'm sorry that I didn't ask you to dance before I took you out on the dance floor." He smiled nervously and said, "Hell, you could have a date that I don't even know about. I just.." he sighed and shook his head, looking down, "I just kind of wanted to be the only one that got to dance with you." He looked up at her, all seriousness in his face. He smiled softly and said, "I know I don't own you and I don't intend to and I apologize for calling you love." He took a hand out of his pocket and ruffled his hair a bit, "I'm just so used to it. My dad's was from England and he used to say it all the time." He chuckled lightly and nodded, "Sorry for bothering you. I don't want to ruin your night and I know you definitely didn't come here to have me hit on you." Shit. He just said that he was hitting on her. He didn't mean it, though right as the words came out, he had a feeling they were true. He winced and nodded, walking back to the stage for a drink and planned on heading out. He couldn't believe he had been so nice. What was happening to him?

[Taylor Smith]

The urge to kiss him was getting very strong, probably stronger than Taylor would ever have expected it to be. She needed to feel his lips on hers again. But no matter how much she wanted it, there was always the small problem that she still wasn't too aware of how the whole concept of kissing worked, and well, that was slightly problematic when it came to trying to do it again. She'd pretty much just have to hope he felt like doing it again and then wait until he did. Which she really hoped wouldn't be too long. Of course, the way he was staring at her in the eyes wasn't helping matters too much either, but she just couldn't bring herself to look away from him, even blinking was slightly problematic at this point. She didn't want to break the contact they had right now, no matter how intense and slightly scary it felt. Because, in all honesty, she was a bit frightened by this whole matter. She wasn't too used to change, and she wasn't really sure of how to take it all, of what it would do, of what a relationship could do exactly to her life, even if it was no serious thing.

She felt relief as he finally looked away, though there was also something missing, she wasn't too sure how to describe what that was exactly, but she wished she could get back the feeling of what the eye contact had brought to her, not too sure at this point it was the best idea though. She had to clear up her mind a bit, at least try to, because there was some talking they had to do a this point. Not much of it, she wasn't going to push him too much on asking what he figured they were now, but she was still a bit confused as to all of it and she wanted to understand it a bit better. She gave a small smile as he looked back at her, wishing he'd just get closer again, but figuring it was better he stayed at a certain distance for now. She looked down at her feet with a light blush as he spoke, having expected something like that, but still happy about it. She knew there wouldn't have been any mention of boyfriend and girlfriend, but the whole idea of going on a date did sound appealing to her. Looking back up at him with a smile, she gave a small nod. "I would like that," she said a bit shyly, biting down on her bottom lip.

[Cassandra Graham]

She couldn't help but smirk lightly when he answered her question, raising an eyebrow slightly and tilting her head to the side as she listened to him. She wondered why this friend of his had been asking so hard on him getting a date for the homecoming dance, and frankly she couldn't help but wonder if it was because she herself had been wanting for him to ask her. That made her curious as to how upset the girl must be after he'd invited someone else - her, none the less. She wasn't exactly all that popular with most girls around, and if she was right about this whole thing and that the girl actually liked Joel, she probably pretty much hated her right now from stealing the blonde guy from her. Well, she could figure why other girls would be attracted to him, too. He was good looking, that was for sure, and he was so overly sweet with everybody than most girly girls would fall for that easily, the romantic girls of course. Cause he sure as hell looked like the kind of guy who'd do pretty much anything to please his lady. Which, now that she thought of it, could mean a lot of things, some a lot more interesting than others.

"Well then I guess that's a good enough reason," she said, her smirk widening slightly. "Of course, not too flattering, but I wasn't expecting that either," she added, looking up at him with a raised eyebrow. So the intention wasn't to make him feel bad about it, but he was pretty cute when trying to explain himself. She was actually getting another idea of in what situations he could also be cute, but that wasn't necessarily be the kind of thoughts she should be having right now. Well, not that she cared, but she usually prefered have those thoughts when they could actually turn into more than thoughts, and right now that surely wasn't a possibility, unless she dragged him out of here... which was a very interesting idea at this moment. "So, how much do you like those dance things?" she asked him. "Do you always stay til the end or... do you something leave early?" she tilted her head slightly, looking at him a bit flirtatiously, wondering if he'd be getting the full meaning of her words, hoping he would, because explaining would be awkward and annoying.

Aidan's grin widened slightly as he heard her giggle, finding that, like he'd expected, he really did love that sound from her. Of course, it wasn't a full out laugh, but he figured that would be expecting too much too soon. For now he was just working on getting her comfortable around him, and that seemed to be working pretty good for now so he was happy with the results of it all, and especially happy that she seemed to be happy right now too. At least, she seemed a lot more happier than the previous time they'd talked, not that she'd seemed unhappy then, but seeing as they'd just met that time, she probably felt a bit awkward about the whole situation, especially once they'd gotten to talking about Addie. He wondered exactly what it was that made her more comfortable now though. Well, not that he wasn't necessarily trying to make her at ease, but he wasn't trying so hard on doing so either, he was just acting the way he always did. Apparently, that was enough though, and he was glad about that. He wanted her to be comfortable around him, because there was no way he'd be able to get to her if she didn't feel at ease when he was around. Of course, he knew he'd have to keep his moves a bit more subtle than usual, go slower, not push too hard, but still, if she at least felt okay when he was around, it's be a lot easier.

He was so busy in his own thoughts that he hardly noticed her moving a bit closer at first, looking down at her with a grin when he realized what she'd just done. He definitely didn't mind the new closeness, though he was still slightly shocked that she'd been the one to cause it. He'd actually have expected her to already feel a bit awkward about the whole closeness of dancing together, but have her more closer instead was definitely something he didn't mind at all. He felt quite good about it actually and wished he could actually pull her even closer still, but he wasn't too sure of how well she'd actually take that. Maybe he'd try it a bit later on, but for now he figured she was already pushing her own limits by moving closer and he didn't want to scare her away or anything. He kept looking at her as he noticed she was pretty much staring at him, examining him, his expression getting a bit more serious though there was still a light smile on his face. He lightly let go of her hand, softly running his fingers along her cheek, unable to restrain himself. He couldn't help but grin lightly, chuckling silently as she jumped and pressed her body to his, out of surprise obviously, definitely not surprised when she then pulled away with a blush, looking down at the floor. "Nothing to be sorry about," he said, placing his finger underneath her chin and gently making her look up before taking her hand once more and starting to dance again. "Really, nothing at all." He'd pull her back completely against him if he could, just like she'd been for merely a few seconds, but he doubted that'd sit too well with her. Still, he brought her just a mite closer to him, a bit like she'd been before jumping and pulling away.

Abigail couldn't actually believe she'd just done that. She couldn't believe she'd caused a scene in the middle of a public place, with a whole lot of students from the school around, loud enough for anyone around to hear and obvious enough for everyone to see. She usually tried not to be the center of attention, she didn't like having people stare at her or something like that, and well, the little show she'd just put up didn't exactly help that matter a lot. Still, there was a part of her that was glad about what she'd just done. After all, who exactly did he think he was, seriously? Acting as though she would have no problem dancing with him, not even bothering to make sure of that, just dragging her around and about... and being so sure of himself, so arrogant... ugh. The mere thought made her feel like turning around and going at it again, yelling some more at him, but she wasn't exactly sure if she had anything left to say. She'd pretty much made it all clear in the first place, so why bother and go repeat herself all over again when it ought to have gone through his head in the first place.

When she felt her arm being grabbed however, she figured that obviously, that wasn't the case. As he moved in front of her, she waited for him to talk, frowning as she folded her arms across her stomach, expecting him to just start yelling at her like she'd done to him. So she wouldn't necessarily blame him if he did either, after all he was probably feeling very unhappy about the little scene she'd just cause, seeing as he was the target of it, and she didn't really know many people who liked to be called off in public. She felt a bit bad about it, too. After all, her mother did it often enough to her so that she'd know how unpleasant it was, and yet here she came and did the same thing. And so she was slightly shocked when he let go of her arm, placing his hands in his pockets before apologizing. That was definitely new. And was he actually nervous? What could he possibly be nervous about? She couldn't help but blush lightly when he said he'd wanted her to only dance with him, not anybody else. She definitely hadn't been expecting that either, but moreover she could read the honestly in his eyes, and that was downright unsettling. She kept listening to him, getting a bit more surprised at everything he said until he then mentioned that she'd surely hadn't come here to have him hit on her. Hold on... hit on her? Was he hitting on her? What for what he hitting on her? What in the world could have possibly brought him to want to... God this was just too confusing. She wasn't really sure of what to even think at this point, she felt like she ought not to believe him, but something about the way he spoke made her feel as though he was entirely honest. As he turned to head away, going to get a drink first, she stayed frozen on the spot for a few seconds but then walked up to him as he was heading out. "You were hitting on me?" she asked, her voice not quite as strong as usual, but needing to understand.

Holly had a feeling that maybe she'd said the wrong thing as Kristina looked down at her feet, obviously the younger girl wasn't there with anyone else, but she didn't really think that there was any shame in going to Homecoming along, she'd done the same thing back in her sophomore year. Well, that was mostly due to the fact that her and Milo had been fighting during the week of Homecoming and she didn't want to take anyone else, even though he took another girl but it had been too much of short notice for her to really find an actual date, but that was never a problem for her former boyfriend turned friend. He could always get a date when he needed one, no matter how short notice it was. But then again, she wasn't sure she'd want to be able to do something like that anyway, he never had any serious relationships either. And Holly actually enjoyed relationships, though she definitely didn't object to flings and things of the such she still preferred a serious relationship most times, when she was able to get one.

"Coming solo isn't that bad," she said, when Kristina told her what she'd already figured out before. She gave a small smile when Kristina returned the same question that she'd asked earlier, but unlike Kristina she could honestly say that she'd come with someone else, even if she still wasn't with that person at the current point in time. "I came with Addison Blythe," she answered. "But I'm pretty sure that she's off finding someone else right now, which is perfectly fine with me." She shrugged slightly as if it were no big deal, which it wasn't. She was the one who left first anyway and each of them knew that they didn't have to stay with each other all night anyway, not that she didn't enjoy spending time with Addie, but she'd just wanted to come over and talk to Kristina and she was sure that Addie had found someone that she'd wanted to have a word with as well. Maybe she'd meet up again with her later, or maybe not, who knew. It wasn't really all that important at the moment, she had to admit. "We've kind got a fling situation going on."

"Maybe it would have," he replied teasingly, when she said that it might have been a good idea to keep her heels. Though actually he didn't know how much the heels would help, depending on how tall they were they could take off maybe a couple of inches, but from what he'd heard heels were quite uncomfortable. So it probably wouldn't make much of a difference for that reason as well, because she'd have to take them off anyway. Oh well, he kind of liked her being so small, it was cute. Even though he'd told her that her size didn't effect her hotness - which it technically didn't because it didn't make her any more hot, it just made her cute - he still found that he liked it. He liked looking down at her and having her fit so well in his arms without even having to try, even if it did hurt his neck sometimes to look down at her and to kiss her, it was still great. Besides when they were sitting the height difference didn't even come into play that much, mostly because he just had long legs so once they weren't into play he could easily be much shorter than he had been.

He looked down at her when she started talking again. It was a question that he'd been asked sometimes, but he'd never been able to explain an answer to someone before. He figured that trying to explain to Addie should be as hard as it was to try and explain to everyone else, but that was just a guess it still didn't make a lot of sense. "Some of them do hold my interest," he said. "Some of them actually do have interesting things to say if you know how to ask about them, you've just got to wait for it." A lot of people found that hard to believe, but he'd found that it was actually true in some cases. He just had to know what to ask about, he hadn't even attempted to really talk to Jessica, he'd just allowed her to talk all she wanted about whatever she wanted. "But some are pretty boring you're right. I go for them though because really those were the first type of girls that approached me in a dating and sexual type of way," he said. "People expect me to go for girls like that and I don't usually see anything wrong with just going for them. After all I'm used to it."
